Empower Texans Scorecard Shows the Massive Difference in Attorney General Candidates.

The new scorecards for Texas legislators is out from Empower Texans and it is quite telling on a few of our statewide candidates.

Empower Texans Shows the Difference between Dan Branch and Ken Paxton

I’ve already announced my support for Texas Senator Ken Paxton, but I am honestly SHOCKED at this scorecard. I can’t believe Rep. Branch didn’t at least consider his fiscal responsibility rating as a state wide candidate.

According to EmpowerTexans.com the scorecard is:

“The Fiscal Responsibility Index is a measurement of how lawmakers perform on size and role of government issues. Texans for Fiscal Responsibility uses exemplar votes on core budget and free enterprise issues that demonstrate legislators’ governing philosophy.”

Legislators are informed of the position of Empower Texans before the votes are cast so they take take their reasons into consideration. Sadly, it seems Dan Branch didn’t pay attention.

Once again Sen. Paxton has shown his character as the only senator with a 100 score (Rep. Branch received a 58.2)!

Keep up the great work Sen. Paxton and remember that we have your back!
