I decided to move the blog to a main site. You can find it at http://TwistedConservate.com

There are a couple of projects I’m working on for Pro-Life Texas and I need your help!
This is a commercial and possibly a series of commercials written by my friend Andrew Koch. I’m currently trying to produce it but we need some funds. This is a “Call to Arms” commercial to encourage pro-life supports to get engaged and take take in the fight. We need some funds to get the crew and locations ready to go.
2) The Pro-Life Minutemen Training
This is a new network I’m trying to create that reaches out to train 20 and 30 somethings in things they can do to take a bigger role in pro-life advocacy. Right now I’m planning a trip to D.C. to get some training and advice from Students for Life, but I could really use the help funding this trip and producing the materials for this training.
If you’d be interested in helping fund either of these projects or can pass this on to at least 2 people who might be able to I’d greatly appreciate it.
Here is a link to give:
Thank you for all of your support!
I don’t really care if I agree with you more than your opponent. If you run your campaign like you’re seeking to be the smart kid in middle school seeking to be class president I’m not going to support you. If your graphics are terrible and you don’t know where to focus your time, how to raise, or who to hire to run a proper event then you aren’t ready to run and you don’t deserve my support.
If you run a restaurant you have to know a lot more than how to cook and if you run for political office you better know a lot more than just a cohesive political philosophy and economic theory.
I’m not attacking the idea of citizen politicians vs. professional politicians. I’m attacking the idea that you can just be a conservative, have no idea about campaigning or the process, and expect to win or even waste our resources supporting you.
If you’re determined to just jump in then please at least start local or hire the right people to train you. We wast to much time, effort, and money supporting a guy that doesn’t have a shot at winning against another fine candidate that we may have some disagreements with when we could use that time, effort and energy going after truly moderate to liberal candidates in races we can win.
Please consider what you’re actually doing and allow your supporters to go and work where they will actually make a difference.
Tired of Amateur Hour
Town Hall tonight with Congressman Merchant, Burgess and Texas Reps. Jonathan Stickland and Giovanni Capriglione. This is a great time to meet and hear from your representatives and hear about what you can do to make this country better. Voting once every couple of years is not enough to change the state or country. I hope to see you there!
I never update this blog. Like most things you think it will be a great idea, but then it falls by the waist-side. Yet, I am glad it is here for special moments when I really want to help spread an idea.
Tonight, I went to watch Hating Breitbart again in Plano, TX. I took several people last week to opening night and a couple more tonight. I rarely see a film more than once. Not only was this documentary that good, but I also believe it is worth my support.
It follows the last two years of Andrew Breitbart’s life and several of the great stories he helped bring to national attention including the ACORN and Anthony Wiener scandals. Breitbart was a champion for freedom and truly hated and despised by the leftist elite.
There was actually one stories I remember seeing come out from Breitbart that I had thought he had been wrong about on his site. That was the Shirley Sherrod story from the NAACP. Unfortunately, I had heard the story from other sources instead of Breitbart and I was fooled. I’m thankful to have my thinking corrected. That was a good reminder how much we’ve all been brainwashed and manipulated by the main stream media.
The film was also a reminder of the mantle that we can all pick up. We have some great stars in the conservative new media like Chris & Dana Loesch, Andre Harper, Steven Crowder, and Jim Hoft, but when it comes to sheer numbers we are often drowned out. There are a lot of ignorant, liberals that are will to post on issues while most conservatives are older or just stay out of it. Breitbart reminds us of the need to be aggressive and stand up for what we believe in. You don’t have to be arrogant, but you should know you’re right and stop apologizing for saying so.
This country is in desperate need for men and women to take up the tools and fight progressivism that seeks to destroy freedom. We need warriors of liberty to take the banner from the fallen like Breitbart and get onto the battle field. We need to stop being pushed around and willing to throw our own under the bus when times get hard (ex. Akin & Mourdock).
We are conservatives. We believe in America. We believe in her people. We believe in freedom and we stand together! And together we will win!
