24 Planned Parenthoods have closed this year!
Some pro-abortion advocates were attacking me for praising the closure of Planned Parenthood abortion mills because they also offer some other health services.
This has to be one of the most short sighted and idiotic arguments I’ve heard. They SLAUGHTER babies. They could be the kindest, gentlest, and most generous people on earth and I’d still cheer the organizations demise.
As a parallel here are 6 good things Hitler did. Perhaps we should have supported him as well. Copied from this article:
1.) No smoking! Hitler was vehemently anti-smoking. The Nazi’s were also the first to link smoking to the contraction of cancer. Source.
2.) The Hitler Mobile? Hitler wanted every German, whether rich or poor, to have a car. And thus he invented the Volkswagen (“People’s Car”). Source.
3.) Spare some change? Before coming into power in 1933, mass unemployment crippled the German economy. The global depression of that era made it so that a wheelbarrow full of money couldn’t even buy a loaf of bread. When the Nazis stormed on to the scene, they put everyone back to work. Over night, the wheels of the economy were turning once more and money was flowing back into people’s pockets. Source.
4.) It’s his way or the highway! Every time you hop on to the freeway to get somewhere faster than taking all the back roads, thank Hitler. That’s right, Hitler invented the highway system (“Autobahn” in German). Source.
5.) This little light of mine… I’m gunna let it shine! The Olympic torch relay ceremony was Hitler’s idea for the 1936 Berlin Olympic games. We haven’t since gotten rid of the ceremony. Source.
6.) Save the whales! Hitler and many top Nazis were environmentalist types who cared deeply about animals and their rights. The Nazis were among the first to put in place laws protecting animals from abuse.Source.
According to pro-choice logic, obviously Hitler was a great man. Sure he had his flaws, but look at all the good the murdering scumbag did.
So go ahead praise Planned Parenthood. Heil Margaret Sanger! Heil Cecile Richards! Heil Abortion!
The internet is a great tool used by many wonderful people, but it is also inhabited by what are known as trolls.
In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.
Don’t fall for the trap. If you want to get a message out focus on the message.
Here are a few keys to not feeding the trolls.
Many times they may bait you by saying, “Why are there no black pro-lifers?” or some other absurd question that may not be as obvious. Never accept premise of the question because it likely has no foundation.
2. Don’t Respond to Insults.
I like a good fight and I don’t mind going a few rounds with people, but it is usually best to just ignore them and not give them the forum to continue. I will generally retweet or screen capture the insult and share it so people can see the hate of the Left.
3. Use the Block Feature
Most social networks have a way for you to block a user so you don’t have to see their comments. It is a wonderful thing that we should all use more often. Many people’s comments are not even worth having to sift through.
If you feed the trolls you’ll only invite more trolls. It doesn’t matter if you’re right, you’ve given a platform to them that they didn’t have to earn. Remember that if Rush Limbaugh hadn’t called Sandra Fluke a slut we might not have ever heard from her.
Yesterday, I posted about being wise in using what tools to debate with pro-abortion advocates. Briefly after posting that this article was brought to my attention. It by by Kelsey Hazzard of Secular Pro-Life. She does a great job writing about staying on point and how you don’t have to connect the issues. As a Christian and an evangelist I certainly pray that she one day runs to the gospel call, but I also greatly appreciate her pro-life work and willingness to work along side people she disagrees with on other issues. Thanks for your work Kelsey. You are much appreciated.
By the way the answer to this is a doctrine called “Common Grace.” That is the grace poured out on all of us that keeps our wicked hearts from complete rule.
I had a great conversation with someone today about pro-life vs. pro-choice ideology. It was very interesting for me because it was the first time I’ve really purposefully focused on the scientific and secular pro-life argument. I could tell from our conversation about some other stuff that making a religious argument wasn’t going to be fruitful in this circumstance and since I wasn’t sharing the gospel at this point I saw no need to make it the sole basis for the debate.
Now don’t get me wrong. I believe that the Word is a two edged sword and cuts right to the heart of the matter. I also believe that it is out most powerful tool, but we are also told to “be wise as serpents.” In this instance it seemed that going a different root was more effective. I didn’t hide my religious convictions on the matter, but I didn’t focus on them either.
The Apostle Paul is quoted in scripture using outside sources as well in his proclamations. In Acts 17: 28
“‘In him we live and move and have our being’;
as even some of your own poets have said,
“‘For we are indeed his offspring.’”
One tactic we need to learn is what tools we have in conversation and how and when to utilize them. Many Christians act like they only have a hammer in their arsenal, but not everything is a nail. Take the time to research. Here is an article from the Family Research Council you may desire to study on Pro-Life Arguments for a Secular Audience.
So I still haven’t caught on to the Duck Dynasty phenom yet. The first time I heard about it was when I was at the Texas Capitol and I heard a bunch of representatives talking about the latest episode. Apparently they have watch parties in their offices. I think it manages to bring opposing sides together.
Even though I haven’t seen it I have a lot of respect for everything I know about the family. First, it is a family business. They work together and have built something stronger than they would have going alone. Second, they capitalized on their uniqueness and became international stars. We need more folks making a lot of money in this country. Especially those that believe like this family. Third, they are devout Christians. They consistently share their faith and they are well learned.
But the fourth reason, and the reason for this post, is that they are unashamedly pro-life. They made a lot of headlines this week (from a clip several months old) as the family patriarch, Phil Robertson, was seen declaring not only the Christian founding of this country, but rebuking the travesty of abortion.
Don’t let the awesome beard or camo fool you. These guys are not only smart business men, but wise men of God as well. We’d all do well to follow their example.
If you’d like to see the full clip of the speech here you go:
Now excuse me. I have a reality TV show to pick up.
2 months ago when the Texas Omnibus bill SB 5 failed I started a group called Pro-Life Texas. I’ve posted a lot of pictures in that time from the Capitol and different memes. Here are the top 10 based on facebook stats:

As we were filming Let Texas Speak to give a voice to Pro-Life Texans it began to rain. Most people headed for cover, but this precious older lady decided to stand in the rain so she could best hear the testimonies. It was the sweetest moment of the entire week.
Bonus: Here is a video of the dear lady taken later that evening:
Thanks for all your support the last couple of months. If you appreciate the work and goals please consider giving to help cover costs.
